Gamma Dataware modules for three UK attractions

Southampton's brand new SeaCity Museum is one of three visitor attractions which have recently seen the installation of a range of LeisurePOS™ software modules from Gamma Dataware.

The museum, part of the development of Southampton's Cultural Quarter, tells the story of the people of Southampton - their lives and the city's historic connections with Titanic and the sea - bringing maritime history to life through an interactive experience designed for all ages.

The SeaCity installation joins existing Southampton City Council Gamma solution sites at the City Art Gallery and Tudor House & Garden and incorporates modules including Admissions & Ticketing; Integrated Post Code Look Up; and Booking & Event Management.

Also deployed were Membership/CRM; Retail POS & Catering with Stock Control; and Integrated Chip & PIN at point of sale.

Further east, the Jerwood Gallery in Hastings has benefited from a Gamma Dataware installation including Admissions & Ticketing; Retail POS; Stock Control; Membership/CRM and integrated Chip & PIN. The gallery is a major initiative of the Jerwood Foundation, established to create a permanent, public home for the Jerwood Foundation's Collection of Modern British Art.

Rounding up the trio of projects, Chocolate - York's Sweet Story, operated by Continuum and offering visitors a tour from the Aztecs and Mayans to the present day confectionery industry, has acquired several Gamma modules.

Included are Admissions & Ticketing; Retail POS; Catering POS; Bookings & Event Management; Stock Control; and the Web Ticketing solution.
